Inés Vogelfang is a Brooklyn-based film editor from Argentina. She studied film at the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master’s in Media Studies and Documentary Film Studies from The New School in New York City.
She began her career in Argentina, editing and producing nonfiction programming for cable and public television, including work for MTV and DirecTV. Her editing work has since screened at major international festivals, including Sundance, Venice, DOC NYC, Hamptons, and Big Sky. The Art of Making It, a feature documentary she co-edited, won the SXSW 2022 Audience Award. Her editing on the Sundance-premiered short Under G-d earned the Jury Prize at the PBS Short Film Festival.
Her credits also include the narrative short Leo’s Shoulder (El Hombro de Sbaraglia), which screened at numerous festivals worldwide, including BAFICI.
Inés is a 2022 Sundance Story & Edit Lab Fellow and a 2019–20 Karen Schmeer Diversity in the Edit Room Fellow. She speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
